Good Life

I apologize for my long absence. Last week was really busy for me, but I'm going to try to get back to captioning as much as possible! So here's a story I worked on today, it's probably the longest one I've done so far and the only multi-panel one I've done so far so please leave some comments and let me know what you think of this. Should I do longer multi-panel stories or stick to single panel ones?

Dusting and cleaning

It has been a long while since I last checked in, so I do apologize for that. Things in life got busy but now I'm ready to get back to captioning! I've got some tasty treats hidden away just waiting to be posted so ya'll are in luck! So again, sorry for the long absence, but I'm back now and ready to go so stay tuned!

Clearing the Last Hurdle

This one is definitely one of my personal favorites now. I didn't think it would be when I started writing it, but looking back at it now, this one just hits plenty of my own buttons. I hope it hits plenty of  yours too!

Just a Lollipop (For sarinedavis)

I made this cap for sarinedavis over on the Caption Trading area of the forums at Rachel's Haven. It was the first caption trading I've done so I was a bit nervous when I posted it, but it all turned out well!

Bad Influence (For Terri)

Here's another cap that I made for a trade. This one was for Terri over at Rachel's Haven.

Home Early

When I saw this picture, the look on the blonde's face just totally screamed total surprise at me and this idea just popped into my head. It's my first go at making a comic style caption and surprisingly, it's quite short! I didn't feel any further dialogue was needed, the picture seemed to speak for itself. Leave me some comments and let me know what you guys think! Do you like the comic style? Should I try using this style more often?

Just Once

I feel like this one has so much more story to be told beyond the ending I already gave it. I'd like to hear some of your ideas on what happens next! Leave me some comments with how you think things will play out for Joseph and Emily? Now who's got some ideas?

Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold

Revenge may take days, weeks, or months, but seizing the opportune moment is priceless.

I had this story in mind for awhile and had originally only wanted to do a short one panel caption like I usually do, but once I started writing it, the ideas just started flowing and flowing and becoming more and more devious until I ended up with almost a short story. I started with a general impersonation and revenge theme but as I went on, I gradually incorporated the wedding and then more of a back story to it. The last panel detailing his adventures post wedding was sort of a spontaneous ad on to the story, I wanted to give the story a more final conclusion. This is definitely one of my favorite captions that I've written thus far. I hope you'll enjoy this as much as I did! Please leave me some comments (you can do so anonymously) or please hit one or more of the quick reaction boxes below the post! I really appreciate any feedback!

Just Like All The Others (For realfield)

You might've noticed a trend in my caption postings lately. Since I've joined Rachel's Haven, I've quite gotten into the whole caption trading shabang and that eats up much of my captioning time now. As such, here is a return cap I wrote for realfield.

Fitting In (For Lyndee)

Here's another cap I made for a trade, this time for Lyndee Mason.

For You (For Cecilia)

Here's a caption I made for Cecilia at the Haven. A little more lovey dovey than my usual caps but I do like a little romantic love every now and then :)

First Date

Here is yet another caption I wrote awhile back but never got around to posting. I made some minor changes to it and I like it better now.

The Perfect Seduction

This was an idea I'd had in my head for awhile, but never got around to writing. Last week, before I had to go away for a bit, I finished writing this, but didn't have enough time to put it into a design. I finally got around to doing that this morning and I'm quite pleased with the overall result. The style and layout of the caption is mostly inspired by Caitlyn of Caitlyn's Masks, a fantastic blog I frequent often (check her blog out if you haven't already!). For those of you that have seen Patriot Games, this scene may seem a bit familiar, as this cap was inspired by one of my favorite scenes from that film, with a TG twist of course.

The Details

Another cap out of the ones I haven't posted before.

Always know the important details of a case!
